Rotary Encoders
A rotary encoder measures the rotational angle of a turning shaft and converts it into a digital position signal. HEIDENHAIN offers both self-contained units with an integral bearing and built-in (bearingless) units mounted directly inside a motor, covering the full range of industrial applications.
