Expanding shaft

Expanding shafts are common automation components in the printing, packaging, and stickers industry.

These are widely used in winding applications, to unwind and/or rewind web material.

The shafts expand mechanically or pneumatically, to grip the inner diameter of a core, to move and place steadily the web material, and control web tension.

There are many types of expanding shafts, those supplied with different sizes, so they can fit to any application.

Safety chucks are supplied as well, allowing safety operation of the shafts, and quick loosening of the shaft.
