Laifual Drive Harmonic Actuator Features:
- Low backlash – Backlash: ≤20 arc/sec (zero backlash)
- Low operating temperature – down to -55℃
- Low starting torque – starting from 1.5Nm
- Absolute encoder – accuracy of ±20 arc sec, repeatability of ±60 arc sec
- High speeds – up to 8,500 rpm
- High torque – up to 1,530 Nm
- Standard reduction ratios: 1:50, 1:80, 1:100, 1:120, and 1:160 (custom ratios available)
- Long lifespan – up to 20,000 operating hours under load
- Communication protocols: EtherCAT, CANopen, BISS-C, and TAMAGAWA
Harmonic actuators are widely used in robotics for precise rotational motion that mimics joint movements. Additionally, harmonic rotary actuators offer high torque transmission with extreme precision, making them ideal for industries such as aerospace, medical technology, industrial automation, and defense.
A harmonic actuator consists of a harmonic drive, motor, absolute rotary encoder, and an electro-magnetic or electro-mechanical brake.
An integrated torque sensor can be added as an option.
