Enclosed Linear Encoders

Enclosed Linear Encoders are particularly suitable for use in situations which demand a high level of precision and efficiency despite harsh ambient conditions including coolant and lubricant ingress or soiling by shavings, filings or dust. The sealing lips on the extrusion keep out coolants and contamination. For applications where the Linear Encoders are used in very harsh environments, there are methods of extra protection (IP 64) beyond the sealed unit´s standard set of sealing lips.
